28-Story Condo Tower in Downtown Austin Celebrates Grand Opening
By BldUp
At 330 feet tall, the building houses over 100 luxury one-, two-, and three-bedroom condominiums, as well as several two-story penthouse units. 5,000 square feet of ground floor restaurant and retail space ties the building into pedestrian traffic.
Borrowing its name from Linden Street, the original name of 17th Street, and the tree of the same name, The Linden is a nod to both Austin’s past and future.
With the center of gravity of Downtown Austin growing to the north, this has become the new neighborhood for luxury residential. Physically rooted near the iconic Capitol Corridor—once untapped as a residential destination—the Linden's metaphorical canopy extends to cover the adjacent arts and medical districts with unparalleled access to The University of Texas at Austin, the traditional Central Business District, the new Medical District, Judge’s Hill, the forthcoming Texas Mall and the world-renowned Blanton Museum of Art. The Linden will be the first new luxury tower overlooking the State Capitol.
